| PRIVATE EVENTS |
North Square is one of the finest choices for private events in lower Manhattan. Located on the northwest corner of Washington Square Park, North Square offers a beautifully designed Art Deco room tailored for intimate dinner events and cocktail parties. In addition to the private room, our lounge and dining room are also available for events. Whether the party is a grand celebration or a small get together, North Square offers a variety of possibilities to meet every event need. |
|---|---|
| THE DECO ROOM | The Deco Room at North Square is our primary private space.
It is the ideal setting for dinner parties of 10 to 20, or cocktail parties for up to 35 guests.
Situated off the lobby of the family owned Washington Square Hotel, this subdued space's decor
includes a stunning Art Deco chandelier, plush banquets, and its own bar.
The Deco Room's subtle glamour provides a classic backdrop for intimate birthday celebrations,
networking receptions, and family affairs.
Its close proximity to NYU makes it the premiere location for department dinners, office parties
and recruiting events.
|
| THE LOUNGE | Presided over by a dazzling tile reproduction of Tamara de Lempicka's La Belle Rafaela, the hide away, speakeasy
lounge is the perfect place for dinner and cocktails. Here, the grandiose of the past is a reminder that good food and
great company are always a staple of the present. Although the lounge takes on a romantic character after dark, during
the day cheery sunlight pours into the room through artisanal crafted double-paned windows, and is well suited for
meetings, brunches, bridal and baby showers. The lounge seats up to 30 guests for lunch, brunch or dinner, accommodates
up to 40 guests for buffet service and up to 50 guests for a cocktail reception.
|
| THE DINING ROOM | The heart of North Square, our main dining room, is open to the public seven days a week
from 7:30 AM until 10:30 PM, serving breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
The dining room offers street level views of historic Washington Square Park.
Recently renovated, this elegant yet welcoming space features an array of stylish, Deco inspired
sconces and cozy banquettes that strike the perfect balance between casual and formal.
The main dining room has been under its current ownership since 1991, and in that time has built a
devoted clientele of neighbors, guests of the Washington Square Hotel and visitors from around the world.
